Job description

Conveyancing Paralegal Our client based in Chelmsford with excellent transport links , have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Conveyancing Department. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience of working in a Conveyancingdepartment. About the Role • Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients/developers/brokers • Processing client’s initial onboarding documentation, carrying out ID Checks, reviewing proof of funds and progressing matters through the early stages of new build transactions • Providing quotes to prospective clients using our online quote tool • Land Registry Direct system application forms • Completing Local Authority, Chancel, and other relevant pre-exchange searches • Preparing completion statements • Dealing with LISA and HTB ISA withdrawals • Dealing with NHBC Warranty portals • Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Registry forms • Building up a good rapport with Estate Agents and other parties About You • Ideally two years or more working within a Conveyancing department carrying out Residential Conveyancing transactions • Experience supporting multiple Fee Earners • New build experience would be useful, but not essential • Confident, clear, and articulate communication skills both orally and in writing • Ability to work in a planned and organised way with the ability to multitask • Experience of using InfoTrack case management training will be provided • A team player Benefits • Competitive Salary • Pension scheme • Professional training and personal development courses as needed to grow as an expert • 26 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays • Annual leave loyalty scheme • Medicash, Health cash plan (Upon successful completion of probation) • Closed between Christmas and New Year • Friendly working environment , Team get togethers , Team lunches • Discounted parking • Dress down Friday • Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm office based Apply Now Does this sound like the perfect role?
