Conveyancing Paralegal – London (E1) Location: London E1 Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent A well-established law firm in London is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners, including file opening, document management, and handling correspondence • Manage incoming calls, emails, post, and online portals efficiently • Draft legal documents and bills under supervision using appropriate templates and precedents • Assist with the progression of conveyancing matters, including liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties • Handle basic legal processes such as preparing forms, arranging funding, and supporting case progression through relevant systems • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and transaction details • Prepare completion statements and assist with post-completion matters • Ensure clients are regularly updated on the progress of their cases • Review and obtain documentation from clients and third parties, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Support compliance with firm policies, including data protection, confidentiality, and file management procedures • Assist with anti-money laundering checks and file audits in line with risk management policies • Deliver a consistently high level of client service Key Requirements: • Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law environment. • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems • A proactive and professional approach with a strong client-focused mindset What’s on Offer: • Opportunity to work with an experienced and supportive legal team • Career development and progression opportunities • Exposure to a wide range of residential conveyancing matters • Competitive salary and benefits package If you are a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal looking to take the next step in your career, we would be keen to hear from you.
