Job description

A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its growing Conveyancing team in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-established firm with a strong reputation across Shropshire and the wider Midlands. Due to continued growth and an increase in new instructions, the successful candidate will step into a busy and varied caseload from day one. The Opportunity The successful Residential Property Solicitor will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including: • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases • Remortgages • Transfers of equity • New build transactions • Shared ownership matters • General residential property work Working closely with colleagues across the firm's wider multi-office property team, the successful candidate will benefit from a collaborative environment with strong technical support and opportunities for professional development. A key aspect of the role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with local estate agents, introducers, and professional referrers, helping to strengthen the firm's market presence in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. Candidate Requirements Applications are invited from solicitors who can demonstrate: • A minimum of 4 years' PQE in Residential Property • Strong technical expertise across the full spectrum of conveyancing matters • The ability to manage a busy caseload independently • Excellent client care and communication skills • A proactive approach to business development and networking • A stable career history demonstrating consistent progression Applications from candidates with less than 4 years' PQE cannot be considered.
