The Opportunity We’re looking for driven, articulate professionals ready to build a high-earning career in M&A. You’ll broker the sale of privately-owned firms to PE-backed consolidators, trade acquirers, and institutional investors — managing relationships, running deals, and operating at the sharp end of the transaction. This is a role where your effort directly drives your earnings, and where the best performers build serious long-term wealth. Key Responsibilities • Direct outreach to business owners across accountancy, wealth management, insurance, and legal sectors — cold and warm calls, email, LinkedIn • Attending industry networking events, conferences, and client meetings across the UK • Managing the full transaction process from first conversation to completion • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with business owners and acquirers • Screening clients, interpreting financial information, and advising on deal structures • Participating in rigorous ongoing training and sector development work Requirements • Degree from a strong university • Several years of professional experience in a commercial, client-facing, or advisory role • Confident and articulate on the phone and face-to-face with senior business owners • Comfortable with direct business development and the accountability of a bonus-driven model • Willing to travel across the UK for client meetings and networking events • Able to work five days a week from our Leadenhall Street office (two minutes from Bank station) Nice to Have • Chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA) or legal qualification • Proficiency in interpreting financial accounts • Strong Excel skills • Existing network in professional services What’s on Offer • Competitive basic salary plus uncapped bonus — top performers materially out-earn their peers • Industry-leading training programme with direct mentorship from founders and senior brokers • A proven playbook, warm inbound flow, and access to the most active buyers in the market • Clear progression into senior broker and leadership roles as the business grows • Regular social events including a Christmas ski trip, Royal Ascot, and team activities Join us for a rewarding career in M&A where your ambition, professionalism, and results are properly acknowledged and rewarded.
