This is a broad in-house role supporting the management and development of the global insurance programme across a complex international business, with close interaction across internal stakeholders and external brokers/insurers.
The role
• Support the management of the group's global insurance programme across multiple lines, with particular focus on financial lines including D&O, PI, cyber and crime.
• Work closely with brokers and insurers to support renewals, placement strategy and the structuring of coverage in the London market and across international programmes.
• Manage the operational side of the programme, including premiums, policy administration, local policies and multinational coordination.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert on insurance matters, advising business stakeholders on coverage requirements, contractual clauses and risk transfer decisions.
• Support the handling of claims and insurance-related issues as they arise, including more complex or sensitive scenarios.
• Strengthen processes, controls and governance across the insurance programme, with first-line ownership of key activity.
• Contribute to wider projects, including M&A activity, due diligence, post-deal integration and the assessment of emerging risks.

• Experience in corporate insurance, London market broking or underwriting, with strong exposure to financial lines products such as D&O, PI, cyber and crime.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across Treasury, Legal, Finance and the wider business.
• Experience dealing directly with brokers and/or insurers, with a sound understanding of how programmes are structured and renewed.
• Comfortable working in a small team and operating in a hands-on, relatively unstructured environment.
• Able to explain insurance concepts clearly to non-specialists and provide practical, commercially minded advice.
