Corporate Partner / Senior Corporate Solicitor Location: Midlands A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor or Partner to join a highly regarded firm as part of its long-term succession planning strategy. This is a key strategic appointment for the firm, offering the successful individual the opportunity to become the future face of the Corporate department, working closely with the existing team and playing a central role in shaping and growing the practice. The Opportunity This role would suit an experienced Corporate lawyer who is looking for more than just their next position. The firm is seeking someone with the ambition, commercial mindset and leadership qualities to help drive the department forward over the coming years. You will have the autonomy and support to: • Develop and grow the Corporate offering • Build and strengthen client relationships • Play a key role in the strategic direction of the department • Mentor and support junior lawyers • Become a recognised figure within the firm's wider offering For the right individual, there is potential for equity participation, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to invest in their long-term future within a growing firm. About You You will ideally be: • An experienced Corporate Solicitor, Legal Director or Partner with a strong transactional background • Experienced across a broad range of corporate matters including M&A, acquisitions, disposals, restructures and shareholder arrangements • Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills • Entrepreneurial and motivated by the opportunity to build and develop a department • Someone who is looking for a long-term home and the opportunity to make a genuine impact Commercial or wider advisory experience would be advantageous, allowing you to support clients beyond purely transactional matters.
