Corporate Solicitor (8+ PQE) - National Firm - Near Covent Garden A highly regarded national law firm with an excellent reputation in the market is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor (8+ PQE) to join its established and ambitious team based near Covent Garden, London. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who is looking to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful corporate practice, working with an impressive client base of London, South East and international private companies, entrepreneurs and fast-growth businesses. The Role The successful candidate will have a strong background in: • Private company M&A • General corporate advisory work • Experience in an additional complementary area such as commercial, IP, banking, VC/PE or related disciplines to enhance and broaden the firm’s client offering • Handling transactions typically in the £5m–£10m+ range You will work closely with entrepreneurial businesses, high-growth companies and clients preparing for significant milestones, including investment, expansion and exit. About You You will ideally bring: • A strong network of professional referrers and introducers (not already connected to the firm) • A proven ability to develop and grow client relationships • Experience building a practice area or supporting the growth of a smaller team • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of what a successful first 100 days in the role would look like • Evidence of mentoring, supervising and developing junior lawyers International experience, language skills or cultural knowledge that can support the development of existing international markets (including Europe, the Middle East, India or the Far East) would be highly valued.
