Corporate Solicitor (2–6 PQE) – Newbury – Legal 500 Firm Location: Newbury, Berkshire (hybrid working available) Position: Corporate Solicitor – Business Services Team Experience Level: 2–6 Years PQE Salary: Competitive + bonus + full benefits package Contract: Full-time, Permanent Join a Highly Regarded Legal 500 Firm in Newbury We are working with a Legal 500-ranked firm known for its strong corporate offering across the Thames Valley, which is now looking to grow its Newbury-based team with the addition of a Corporate Solicitor (2–6 years PQE). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially aware lawyer to work closely with an experienced team on a wide range of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, and shareholder work, for clients in sectors such as tech, life sciences, healthcare, and professional services. Whether you're looking to take the next step up or broaden your exposure to high-quality deals, this is a role with real progression potential in a collaborative, down-to-earth firm. The Role You will manage your own caseload of quality corporate matters and support senior team members on more complex transactions. Work will include: • Mergers & acquisitions – both buy-side and sell-side • Private equity transactions and venture capital investments • Management buyouts (MBOs) and corporate restructuring • Shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and corporate governance matters • Group reorganisations, partnership and share transfers • Advising owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, and SMEs You will also be encouraged to take an active role in client development, marketing, and networking in the local business community.
