Corporate Tax Manager

We are working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Reading to find an experienced and technically strong Corporate Tax Manager for a role that sits within a well-regarded and growing tax practice, with a genuinely varied client base and a firm that looks after its people, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more. Key Responsibilities • Managing a portfolio of corporate clients across compliance and advisory services • Advising on corporation tax, group structures, reorganisations, and tax planning matters • Reviewing corporate tax returns and computations prepared by junior staff • Developing and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships • Mentoring and supporting the development of junior members of the tax team • Contributing to business development activity and proposals Requirements • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong corporate tax background gained within practice • At least five years' experience working within a UK Practice environment • Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients across compliance and advisory work • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and current developments • Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to convey complex matters clearly • Commercially minded and proactive, with a genuine appetite to contribute to the growth of the firm
