Job description

Costs Lawyer - Birmingham The team advises on a broad range of complex and high-value matters spanning both commercial litigation and personal injury, with involvement across the full lifespan of claims. They are open minded on level and would consider either a qualified Costs Lawyer or someone earlier in their career with substantial costs draftsperson experience The ideal candidate will have exposure to a mix of Defendant and Claimant costs work and be comfortable handling tasks such as drafting costs budgets, bills of costs, Points of Dispute and Replies, settlement negotiations, and preparing Schedules of Costs. Experience working on higher-value personal injury or commercial litigation matters would be advantageous. They’re looking for someone who can manage a busy caseload effectively, communicate confidently with clients and colleagues, and work well as part of a collaborative team. It’s a strong opportunity for someone looking to join a respected team with quality work and genuine long-term progression prospects.
