Credit Controller Milton Keynes Full Time | Temporary £14.75 - £15.55 per hour Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm Reed are working with a leading organisation in Milton Keynes who are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and confident Credit Controller to take ownership of outstanding accounts, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the effective management of debt recovery processes. Key Responsibilities • Proactively recover outstanding debt from dealer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments. • Investigate and resolve account queries efficiently and professionally. • Escalate non-payment issues in line with company procedures. • Process credit notes and reissue invoices where required. • Attend regular meetings with management to review outstanding debt and collection activity. • Handle incoming calls relating to overdue accounts and payment queries. • Manage email correspondence through shared inboxes. • Liaise with internal departments to ensure account information is accurate and up to date. • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures. • Ensure all documentation and records are accurately maintained and filed. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: • Previous experience in a Credit Control position (essential). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities. • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • A highly organised and proactive approach. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels. • Good IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems. • A professional and customer-focused manner.
