Job description

Temporary Credit Controller Location: Ripon Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Salary: Competitive, to be discussed (weekly pay from Reed) Due to a particularly busy period, our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Temporary Credit Controller to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous credit control experience to support our established team in managing customer accounts, maintaining cash flow, and delivering excellent customer service. The role is office-based and offered on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis (could consider perm for the right person). Key Responsibilities • Day-to-day management of a customer account portfolio. • Chasing outstanding payments through telephone, email, and written correspondence. • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal departments. • Resolving invoice and account queries in a timely manner. • Supporting cash collection activities and reducing aged debt. • Agreeing and monitoring payment arrangements where appropriate. • Maintaining accurate customer records and account information. • Assisting with account reconciliations and credit administration tasks. • Escalating complex issues when required. • Supporting the wider finance team during peak workloads. About You To succeed in this role, you will: • Have previous experience in a Credit Control. • Be confident communicating with customers by telephone and email. • Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Have a professional and customer-focused approach. • Be comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Be able to prioritise workload effectively and work as part of a busy team. • Have a positive, flexible attitude and a willingness to support colleagues where needed.
