We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing international business for a Customer Service Advisor to join their friendly and supportive team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and communication skills who enjoys providing first-class service while coordinating orders from enquiry through to delivery.
The RoleAs a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and queries are resolved efficiently. You'll work closely with internal departments to provide a seamless customer experience and support both UK and international accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining and updating customer information within the CRM system.
• Liaising with internal teams including Sales, Logistics and Warehouse to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Providing updates on deliveries, stock availability and order progress.
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues with a proactive approach.
• Producing and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Supporting the wider customer service team with administrative duties as required.
About YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and enjoys working in a busy office environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
• Previous experience in a Customer Service, Sales Support or Customer Administration role.
• Experience of sales order processing.
• Good working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
Desirable (but not essential):
• Experience supporting export or international customers, including an understanding of export documentation or processes.
• The ability to speak an additional language.
