Job description

Customer Trading Advisor • Location: Liphook • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm • Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum • Job Type: Full-time Join a growing business as a Customer Trading Advisor in Liphook. This customer-focused role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, managing multiple priorities, and delivering consistently high levels of service in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-day of the role: • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. • Deliver excellent customer service to brokers, acting as a knowledgeable and reliable point of contact. • Run reports using internal systems to identify outstanding actions and requirements. • Chase both new business and policy renewals. • Liaise with the accounts team and support the reduction of aged debt. • Understand and handle claims cover requests in line with agreed service standards. • Manage and organise shared team mailboxes. • Accurately update internal systems with call notes, policy details, and documentation. • Chase brokers for outstanding policy requirements and information. • Escalate delayed or complex requirements to underwriters where appropriate. • Adhere to regulatory, compliance, and internal quality standards at all times. • Assist with policy trading activities in line with company procedures. • Contribute to improved customer feedback, including Feefo and Trustpilot scores. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Previous experience in a customer service or call-handling environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications. • High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach. • Resilience and confidence when handling high call volumes or challenging conversations. • Comfort working to targets and deadlines. • A professional and approachable manner, demonstrating behaviours aligned with team Operating Principles. • The ability to work independently while taking ownership, responsibility, and accountability for workloads.
