Damp proofer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Damp Proofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying damp proofing treatments to residential properties, ensuring effective moisture protection. This role requires a proactive approach, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Full training will be provided, and all positions are paid. Responsibilities • Prepare surfaces by cleaning and ensuring they are suitable for damp proofing application • Apply damp proofing materials accurately according to project specifications • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered • Drive between sites safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations • Assist with other related tasks as required to support project completion Requirements • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record • Good command of English, both spoken and written • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and working at heights if necessary • Prior experience in building maintenance or damp proofing is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a physically active position within the construction or property maintenance industry.
