DATA ARCHITECT
up to £65,000 + BENEFITS
London (Hybrid)

THE COMPANY:This a UK regulator in the health sector and is investing heavily in its digital and data capabilities, particularly across Microsoft D365 and modern data platforms. This is a chance to play a key role in a growing architecture function with real organisational impact.
THE ROLE:You will take ownership of enterprise and project-level data architecture, driving best practice and governance across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
• Driving enterprise data modelling and governance through the Data Architecture Framework (DAF)
• Developing conceptual and logical models (UML), taxonomies, ontologies and data glossaries
• Mapping data flows and establishing lineage across the enterprise ecosystem
• Supporting and evolving the Microsoft D365 and downstream medallion data architecture
• Administering and maintaining the model repository with strong version control and quality standards
• Working closely with engineering, governance and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions
• Acting as a champion for data architecture best practice across the organisation
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:You will bring strong capability in:
• Data architecture experience, or a strong data engineering background with architectural aspirations
• Advanced data modelling (conceptual, logical and physical)
• Experience with modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Strong understanding of data methodologies (Kimball, transactional, OBT) and when to apply them
• Knowledge of DAMA DMBoK principles and enterprise data governance
• Experience working within a Microsoft stack (Azure, Fabric, D365)
