Deputy Care Home Manager – Complex Care Location: Leicester Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Care Home Manager to join our specialist Complex Care service in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated care professional looking to take the next step in their leadership career while making a genuine difference in the lives of individuals with complex health and care needs. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance. Key Responsibilities • Support the Registered Manager in the overall leadership and management of the service. • Ensure exceptional standards of care are delivered in line with CQC regulations and company policies. • Lead, motivate, and develop care teams to achieve positive outcomes for residents. • Assist with staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management. • Monitor care plans, risk assessments, and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, safeguarding, and person-centred care. • Support occupancy growth, quality assurance processes, and continuous service improvement. • Act as the Manager's deputy in their absence. About You • Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Senior Team Leader, or similar leadership role within a care setting. • Strong understanding of complex care, learning disabilities, mental health, neurological conditions, or acquired brain injuries. • Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (minimum) with willingness to work towards Level 5 if not already achieved. • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting staff development.
