Assistant Centre Manager
• Location: West Sussex
• Salary: £28-31k per annum
• Job Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Centre Manager based in offices in West Sussex. This role will involve supporting the effective day-to-day running of the offices, contributing to its commercial success, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Day-to-Day Duties of the Role:
• Support the Centre Manager in ensuring the centre operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards.
• Assist with the management of facilities, contractors, and suppliers, including oversight of building presentation, health and safety, and asset maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service, supporting the Centre Manager with overall management control and accountability for the commercial performance of the centre.
• Act as deputy in the Centre Manager's absence, overseeing all aspects of centre operations, team coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure continuity and high standards are maintained.
• Manage standards of building presentation, including soft and hard facilities management such as cleanliness, health and safety, and security.
• Maintain and deliver the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
• Support financial processes including customer invoicing and debt management, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience in supporting the operational delivery of a high-quality workspace, including elements of soft and hard facilities management.
• Background in a customer-facing or service-led environment, maintaining professional standards and contributing to a positive occupier experience.
• Demonstrated ability to support and coordinate team activity within a service environment, ensuring operational standards are met.
• Experience in supporting financial processes such as invoicing, debt management, and purchase order reconciliation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
