Role/Team overview We’reseeking an experienced manager to lead ourDevSecOpstooling team.You’llhelpmaintainand design the next iteration of application security tooling. Working in partnership with leaders at Comcast,you’llguide cross-functional efforts at enterprise scale. As the team lead of AppSec Tooling,you’lloversee software that helps catalogue and prioritise vulnerability data,leveragingAI where possible to create performance multipliers. Our team currently consists of 4 Security Developers with interdisciplinary support from QA, product, program, and other areas of the business. We build and upgrade workflows in two major products—an Application Security Posture Management tool and a Cybersecurity Toolbox, used by internal employees to help track and manage vulnerabilities. What?you’ll?do • The AppSec Tooling Manager will own andmaintainthe stability and scaling of our platforms. • You’llbe responsible formanaging day to day operations for the teamand partnering with stakeholders to translate needs into prioritized roadmap items. • This a leadership role requiring strong technicalexpertisein software development lifecycles andDevSecOpsbest practices.
