Additional Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Quality, Governance and Patient Safety • Maintain and embed the highest standards of clinical practice within a robust governance and regulatory framework. • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all statutory, professional and regulatory requirements. Working with the Governance Manager and Heads of Department to ensure continuous regulatory compliance and service excellence • Provide executive leadership for risk management, clinical governance, patient safety, experience and quality improvement initiatives. • Act as the Hospital's Director of Infection Prevention and Control, ensuring effective infection prevention and control practices across all services. • Promote, develop and share evidence-based clinical practice across the hospital. Who We're Looking For We are seeking an experienced and credible healthcare leader who is registered with the NMC, HCPC or an equivalent professional body and has a proven track record of operating at Director of Clinical Services level, or within a comparable senior leadership role in an acute healthcare setting. The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, delivering strong operational performance and driving clinical excellence through robust governance, patient safety, risk management and quality improvement frameworks. You will bring a strong understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements, alongside experience of developing and implementing clinical strategy and leading service transformation.
