Key Responsibilities: 1. To provide administrative support to governance and risk meetings, including preparation of agendas and papers, circulating these in advance, co-ordinating attendance, taking minutes and updating action logs. 2. Provide administrative support to the Governance Managers and governance team. 3. Act as point of contact for the team monitoring and managing the divisional email account and support with the drafting and preparation of documents and correspondence. 4. Use your organisational skills to support the team to ensure that deadlines are met in relations to patient safety investigations, complaints, inquests and safety alerts. What are we looking for: A self-driven individual who can work independently using their own initiative, but can also work collaboratively as part of the governance team. You will care about people and be passionate about putting patients first. You will have excellent IT and organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing are essential to this role. You will be experienced in taking minutes, recording and monitoring actions and able to appropriately manage sensitive and confidential information.
