Driver Cleaner

Your new company Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Driver Cleaner to work with a leading social housing contractor across Manchester on a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with cleaning experience and a full UK driving licence. The role will involve travelling between occupied and void social housing properties, communal areas and housing schemes to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Your new role • Cleaning communal areas within residential apartment blocks and housing schemes • Carrying out internal and external cleaning duties • Cleaning stairwells, entrances, corridors, lifts and bin stores • Removing litter and fly-tipped waste from communal areas • Supporting void property cleans prior to new tenants moving in • Driving a company vehicle between various sites across Manchester • Reporting maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, or anti-social behaviour • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations What you'll need to succeed • Full UK Driving Licence (essential) • Previous cleaning experience within social housing, facilities management or commercial environments • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively What you'll get in return • Competitive hourly pay • Weekly pay • Temporary contract with immediate start • Company vehicle provided during working hours • Opportunity to work with a well-established social housing contractor • Potential for contract extension based on performance and workload What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
