Executive Assistant to Chief Executive
6–12 Month Fixed-Term Contract | County Durham | Hybrid Working | Circa £45,000
Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a high-profile role where you can make a real impact?
We are recruiting an exceptional Executive Assistant to Chief Executive for a 6–12 month contract to provide dedicated support during a period of increased business activity and strategic project delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a senior leader, becoming a trusted partner and playing a pivotal role in ensuring priorities, projects and stakeholder relationships are managed effectively.
About You
We are looking for a highly professional and proactive Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
Supporting the Chief Executive, you will provide comprehensive executive support while helping to coordinate key business projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Complex diary and inbox management
• Coordinating meetings, presentations and executive communications
• Acting as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Organising and supporting leadership meetings and events
• Monitoring project actions, deadlines and deliverables
• Producing reports, documents and board-level correspondence
• Managing travel arrangements and itineraries
• Providing proactive support to help drive business priorities forward
You will bring:
• Previous experience supporting CEO, MD or Executive-level leaders
• Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• The confidence to work autonomously and anticipate business needs
• Excellent attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information
• Experience supporting projects or business initiatives would be highly advantageous
