Job description

A London based Corporate Affairs Director is seeking a forward thinking EA who can provide high impact 1:1 support to the Director of Corporate Affairs and the wider Communications and Public Policy team, blending classic EA duties with communications expertise, stakeholder management and reputational awareness. The position involves delivering executive support through complex diary management, inbox prioritisation, briefing preparation and coordination of internal and external meetings, alongside active stakeholder engagement with officials, regulators, media contacts, industry bodies and senior internal leaders. It also requires issues and reputation tracking by monitoring news cycles, preparing summaries, escalating risks and supporting crisis response coordination, as well as communications support through drafting correspondence, preparing talking points, managing press event logistics and assisting with content creation. Governance and reporting responsibilities include organising Board and Committee packs, maintaining compliance calendars and supporting reporting workflows. Project coordination will involve campaigns, public affairs initiatives, stakeholder programmes and cross functional projects. The role further covers event and engagement logistics such as roundtables, investor events, media briefings and internal leadership engagements and ensures smooth office operations through budget management, supplier coordination and documentation control. The ideal candidate will need to bring strong understanding of Corporate Affairs, a high level of judgement, exceptional stakeholder communication with a highly organised, proactive attitude and an understanding of commercial and political dynamics. They will need to be tech-savvy, confident using modern tools and platforms, and fully London office based although there will be flexibility dependent on business needs.
