I'm working with a well-established global real estate consultancy that is looking to add a number of Project Managers to its growing Central London team.
This is a great opportunity to join a respected business delivering high-quality office fit-out, refurbishment and mixed-use projects for a range of investors, developers and occupier clients across London.
You'll be involved in projects from the early planning stages through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
What you will actually do –
You'll be responsible for managing projects through the full lifecycle, making sure they're delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Managing the day-to-day delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients and providing advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting with project planning, procurement, design management and risk management.
• Preparing project reports, meeting minutes and financial updates.
• Administering JCT contracts.
• Assisting with fee proposals and supporting client presentations and pitches.
• Managing project close-out and handover.
• Building strong relationships with clients and helping identify future opportunities.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
What you will need –
You'll have experience working within a consultancy environment and be comfortable managing commercial projects in Central London.
• A degree in a relevant construction or property discipline.
• MRICS qualification or equivalent is preferred, although candidates from project management, engineering, design or cost consultancy backgrounds will also be considered.
• Experience delivering commercial office or mixed-use refurbishment and fit-out projects, ideally with values of £10m+.
• JCT contract administration experience.
• Good knowledge of the Central London office market.
• Experience supporting or leading client meetings and presentations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
