Primary School Early Years Practitioner | Waltham Forest, London Location: Waltham Forest, London Contract: Full-Time | Permanent Start Date: September or October Start Salary: £26,000-£34,000 per annum Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm | Term Time Only Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years professional looking to build your career within a welcoming primary school? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a committed Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis. Working alongside experienced teachers and practitioners, you'll help deliver engaging learning experiences, nurture children's development and create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where every child can flourish. The Role As an Early Years Practitioner, you will: • Support children's learning through engaging, play-based activities. • Help create a safe, welcoming and stimulating Early Years environment. • Work alongside teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences. • Encourage children's social, emotional and academic development. • Observe, monitor and contribute to children's progress and wellbeing. • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or a degree in Education or another child-related subject. • Has previous experience working within an Early Years setting. • Demonstrates a warm, patient and nurturing approach. • Communicates confidently with children, parents and colleagues. • Is organised, dependable and enjoys working as part of a team. • Has a genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
