Early Years Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest, London Location: Waltham Forest, London Contract: Full-Time | Permanent Start Date: September or October Start Salary: £26,000-£34,000 per annum Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm | Term Time Only Are you an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant who loves helping young children take their first steps in education? Are you looking to join a primary school where your enthusiasm, patience and creativity will be valued every day? A vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest is searching for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to become a permanent member of its Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience supporting Nursery or Reception-aged children, whether that's within a primary school or a private nursery setting. Working alongside experienced teachers, you'll help deliver engaging activities, encourage children's confidence and provide the care and support they need to flourish both academically and socially. The Role As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will: • Assist with delivering engaging learning and play activities. • Encourage children's language, social and emotional development. • Support pupils during classroom lessons, outdoor learning and daily routines. • Help prepare exciting learning resources and classroom displays. • Foster a safe, caring and stimulating environment. • Work closely with teachers and parents to support every child's progress. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: • Has experience supporting Nursery or Reception-aged children. • Has worked within a primary school or private nursery setting. • Understands the importance of learning through play. • Builds positive relationships with children and colleagues. • Is reliable, caring and eager to make a difference. • Brings energy, positivity and a genuine passion for Early Years education.
