Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant – Green Lanes, Haringey – September StartFull-Time | Long-Term Position | £95 - £115 per day A welcoming and inclusive Primary School located in Green Lanes, Haringey is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children within the Early Years setting, working closely with pupils who have additional needs and helping them develop socially, emotionally and academically during these crucial early stages of education. The Role: • Supporting children within Nursery or Reception on a 1:1 and small group basis • Working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASD), Speech & Language Needs, developmental delays and social communication difficulties • Supporting children's communication, emotional regulation and engagement with learning through play-based activities • Implementing strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO • Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours • Helping to create a nurturing, safe and inclusive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience working with children within an Early Years, Nursery, School or Childcare setting Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable A patient, nurturing and proactive approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for Early Years education and supporting children with additional needs A relevant qualification in Education, Childcare, Psychology or a related field is desirable but not essential An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer: Competitive daily rates of £110 - £115 per day Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent employment Supportive leadership team and welcoming school environment Excellent experience for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists and SEN professionals Ongoing support from an experienced education recruitment team This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to make a genuine difference in the lives of young children and gain valuable experience within a supportive school setting.
