Consultant Ecologist Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 Location: Cardiff An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist to join a forward-thinking ecological consultancy based in Cardiff. As a Consultant Ecologist, you will play a key role in delivering projects from initial site surveys through to final reporting, working with a diverse range of clients across both the public and private sectors. Benefits: • Salary between £29,000 and £35,000, depending on experience • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements • Structured training and ongoing professional development • Support with professional memberships and protected species licences • Positive, team-oriented working culture Responsibilities: • Conducting habitat assessments and protected species surveys • Writing and contributing to a range of ecological reports • Assisting with Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) • Supporting Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) delivery and strategy • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders About you: • Degree-qualified in Ecology or a related field • Holds a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle • Based in or able to commute to Cardiff • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ecologist looking to further develop their technical skills and progress within a supportive and expanding consultancy.
