Job description
• Prepare, set up, operate, and dismantle simulation and clinical skills equipment for teaching sessions, including preparation of medical meats.
• Support the delivery of low, medium, and highfidelity simulation and resuscitation training, including insitu simulation.
• Maintain, clean, repair, and safely store simulation equipment and clinical skills mannequins.
• Act as a subject matter expert for simulation equipment, providing advice and guidance to educators, faculty, and learners.
• Deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) training and assessments in line with Trust standards.
• Support scenario development, moulage, and enhancement of realism in simulation sessions.
• Maintain safe learning environments, including compliance with health and safety, COSHH, safe storage and disposal of medical meats, and infection prevention guidance.
• Manage stock control, equipment inventory, ordering, and record keeping to support service delivery and income generation.
• Support administrative processes, data entry, and the use of education and learning management systems.
• Work collaboratively with Trust departments and external partners to share resources and support service improvement.
• Participate in events, open days, and promotional activities where required.
• Maintain personal competence through training, appraisal, and professional development.
