Job description

Educational Psychologist • Annual Salary: Competitive • Location: London • Job Type: Permanent We are seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about using psychological knowledge and skills to improve students' learning and emotional well-being. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to create supportive and effective educational environments. Day-to-day of the role: • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' educational and emotional needs. • Develop and implement intervention strategies and educational programs tailored to individual student needs. • Provide consultation to teachers and school staff on how to implement psychological principles and techniques in the classroom. • Offer guidance and support to parents on issues affecting their child's education and development. • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address complex student needs and promote a holistic approach to education. • Conduct research on educational practices and psychological factors affecting learning to continuously improve school programs. • Lead workshops and training sessions for staff and parents to enhance their understanding of educational psychology. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Master’s degree or higher in Educational Psychology or a related field. • Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., Health and Care Professions Council). • Proven experience in an educational psychology role. • Strong understanding of psychological theories and practices relevant to education. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
