Employment Lawyer (Hybrid)

This role is responsible for assisting in the management of a team of lawyers across designated practice areas, providing leadership, supervision, direction, and expert legal advice to a wide range of stakeholders. The position contributes to the wider management of Legal Services and leads by example in promoting and embedding organisational values and behaviours across the team. The successful candidate will manage a complex, varied, and demanding caseload, delivering practical and innovative legal solutions with minimal supervision. The role will support the effective delivery of legal services by maximising internal expertise and reducing reliance on external legal support wherever appropriate. As part of the position, you will undertake and oversee advocacy as required, while ensuring high standards of legal practice and service delivery. You will also support governance and compliance functions by providing advice on legal and procedural matters, identifying risks, and ensuring that any areas of concern are appropriately investigated and addressed. The role includes a commitment to knowledge sharing and professional development, contributing to the training and development of colleagues and stakeholders to ensure they remain up to date with legal developments, legislative changes, and emerging issues.
