Job description

Ad Hoc EPOS Engineer (Freelance/Contract) – UK Wide Location: UK Wide Job Type: Freelance / Contract / Ad Hoc Pay: £125–£145 per day (depending on experience/if LTD or PAYE etc) plus Vehicle Usage Allowance and Mileage Own vehicle and full UK driving licence are essential for this role. We are looking for experienced EPOS Engineers to join our growing network of freelance engineers supporting retail and hospitality clients throughout the UK. If you're an experienced field engineer looking for flexible work with competitive rates and regular project opportunities, we'd like to hear from you. About the Role You'll be responsible for carrying out a variety of on-site engineering tasks, including: • EPOS installations and hardware deployments • Break/fix support and fault diagnosis • Hardware upgrades and equipment replacements • Store openings, closures and technology refresh projects • Installation of printers, scanners, payment terminals and other peripherals • Basic network connectivity and cable management • Completing job reports using a mobile device Assignments are available throughout the UK and may include weekday, evening and occasional weekend work. Some projects will require working away from home, with overnight hotel stays where necessary.
