EQD Application Support

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong EQD Application Support Engineer to support applications within an Equities Derivatives trading environment. The role focuses on maintaining system stability, resolving production issues, and supporting business-critical trading platforms. What you'll do: • Provide L2/L3 application support within an EQD trading environment • Investigate and resolve production incidents (P1/P2) impacting trading systems • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventative improvements • Monitor systems proactively and address issues before business impact • Work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams • Support releases, deployments, and BAU activities What you'll bring: • Strong Linux/Unix command line skills (processes, logs, troubleshooting) • Hands-on scripting experience (Python and/or Bash) • Strong SQL skills (querying, data analysis, troubleshooting) • Proven experience in application / production support • Knowledge of Equities / Equities Derivatives (EQD) products • Experience in trading systems or front-office environments • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.) Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
