Experienced Teaching Assistant | Billericay, Essex Location: Billericay, Essex Contract: Full-Time | 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (with the opportunity to become permanent) Start Date: ASAP / September Available Pay: £92-£120 per day (dependent on experience) Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next long-term opportunity? Do you enjoy helping pupils reach their full potential while working as part of a supportive school community? A welcoming primary school in Billericay is looking to appoint a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, one-year contract, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. Working closely with class teachers, you'll provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions and assist pupils on a one-to-one basis where required. Every day will bring the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's learning and development. The Role As an Experienced Teaching Assistant, you will: • Support teaching and learning across the classroom. • Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups. • Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. • Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and progress. • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team. • Provide additional support for pupils with SEN where required. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: • Has at least two years' experience working as a Teaching Assistant. • Is confident supporting pupils across the primary age range. • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. • Has experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential). • Is proactive, reliable and passionate about education.
