We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected international freight forwarding company based near London Heathrow. The Package Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE) • Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30 • Permanent, full-time position • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays • Life Insurance • Personalised training and development programme • Career progression opportunities • Supportive and friendly working environment • Long-established international Freight Forwarder The Role As an Export Clerk, you'll manage international export shipments from booking through to final delivery, ensuring every shipment is handled efficiently and customers receive exceptional service. Duties Include • Managing export shipments from start to finish. • Preparing and checking export documentation. • Liaising with customers, overseas agents, airlines, shipping lines, hauliers and customs. • Providing shipment updates and resolving customer queries. • Monitoring shipments and ensuring on-time delivery. • Ensuring compliance with customs procedures and international shipping regulations. • Building strong relationships with customers and overseas partners. • Working closely with the operations team to deliver outstanding service. What We're Looking For To be successful, you'll ideally have experience in one or more of the following: • Export Clerk • Export Operator • Freight Forwarder • Air Freight Operator • Ocean Freight Operator • Sea Freight Export Clerk • Road Freight Operator • European Road Freight • Multi-Modal Operator • Shipping Coordinator • Logistics Coordinator • Freight Operations You'll also have: • Previous Freight Forwarding experience. • Excellent customer service skills. • Strong organisational and communication skills. • The ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
