Early Career Teacher (ECT) - EYFS (Nursery/Reception) - Full Time Start Date: September 2026 Salary: MPS 1 Tradewind Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Salford area from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career within a well-established Early Years setting, working across Nursery and Reception. About the Role: * Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Nursery and Reception in line with the EYFS framework * Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment * Plan and deliver creative, play-based learning experiences * Support children's communication, language, and social development * Observe, assess, and track pupil progress effectively * Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues * Contribute positively to the wider school community and Early Years team The Ideal Candidate Will: * Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong interest in Early Years education * Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework (or a willingness to develop this) * Be passionate about child-centred learning and early development * Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills * Be caring, patient, and committed to supporting every child's individual needs * Work well collaboratively as part of a team This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school, where you can make a real difference at the very start of children's educational journeys.
