Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Face-to-Face Tutor who is passionate about helping KS3 and KS4 students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their learning? Reeson Education are recruiting a skilled Face-to-Face Tutor (KS3 & KS4) for learners in Doncaster (DN4) starting from September 2026. This role is ideal for an experienced education professional who can provide engaging, personalised tuition and support students in reaching their full potential, particularly those requiring additional support to close learning gaps and improve attainment. About the Face-to-Face Tutor Role: As a Face-to-Face Tutor, you will work directly with KS3 and KS4 students on a one-to-one or small-group basis, delivering tailored learning sessions that meet individual needs. You will help learners overcome barriers to education, improve attainment, and develop confidence across core curriculum subjects. Key Responsibilities as a Face-to-Face Tutor: • Personalised Tuition Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group tuition sessions tailored to the needs of KS3 and KS4 learners. • Targeted Academic Support: Identify learning gaps and implement effective teaching strategies to improve attainment, progress, and examination readiness. • Student Engagement: Build positive relationships with students to increase motivation, confidence, attendance, and participation in learning. • Progress Monitoring: Assess, track, and record student progress, adapting tuition programmes and intervention strategies where necessary. • Collaborative Working: Communicate effectively with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals to support positive educational outcomes. To succeed as a Face-to-Face Tutor, you will need: • Previous experience tutoring or teaching KS3 and KS4 students within an educational setting. • Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of the National Curriculum. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities. • A patient, supportive, and professional approach to education. • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
