Family Law Solicitor Location: Windsor – hybrid working from home 1 day per week Salary: £50-55K plus bonus and excellent benefits package The Opportunity Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with over 100 years of history. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join their Windsor team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys autonomy, is confident managing their own caseload, and thrives in a client-facing environment. The role offers genuine long-term progression, with a clear route to Head of Department and ultimately Partnership. Supported by shared paralegals and legal executives, you will take ownership of a varied private family law caseload whilst also contributing to the continued growth of the department. Key Requirements • Minimum 2 years’ PQE in Family Law • Ability to manage a caseload independently • Strong experience across a broad range of private family law matters • Confidence in a highly client-facing role • Strong communication, client care and relationship-building skills • Comfortable working with limited supervision • A proactive, hands-on approach, including an interest in business development • Good IT and case management systems experience • Experience of DPS IT Case Management System would be beneficial, but is not essential Role and Responsibilities • Manage a varied Family Law caseload from instruction through to conclusion • Handle matters including divorce, financial disputes, children matters, separation agreements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, care proceedings and domestic abuse • Meet clients face-to-face and deliver a high standard of client care • Represent clients at hearings and in court where required • Work independently and progress matters efficiently • Support the continued growth of the department through a hands-on approach • Contribute to business development • Maintain high standards of risk management and compliance • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff Salary, Bonus and Benefits • Circa £50,000 at around 2 years’ PQE • Circa £55,000 at around 4 years’ PQE • 15% on-target bonus linked to billable invoices • 25 days’ annual leave • Standard pension • Private office for every employee • Modern office environment • 4 days in the office / 1 day working from home, with flexibility on the home-working day • This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking autonomy, career progression and the chance to join a respected firm where they can make a real impact.
