Job description

We are seeking a confident and experienced Family Solicitor to manage a varied private family law caseload independently. The successful candidate will work as part of the wider family team. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for: • Managing divorce, separation, financial remedy and private children matters • Advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions • Handling TOLATA matters where appropriate, with TOLATA experience being ideal • Supervising and developing junior staff • Supporting the wider family team • Attending networking events and assisting with business development • Contributing to the continued growth of the Doncaster office and the wider firm The ideal candidate: • Ideally 8+ years’ PQE in family law, although strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered • Experience in both children and financial remedy matters • TOLATA experience is ideal • Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision • Excellent client care, drafting and communication skills • Strong commercial awareness and a good billing record • Experience or willingness to supervise and develop junior colleagues • Willingness to network and assist with business development • Ambition to grow within the firm • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office • A professional, organised and team-focused approach.
