Job description

The Role We are seeking a confident and experienced Family Solicitor to manage a varied private family law caseload independently. The successful candidate will join the existing Doncaster office and work as part of the wider family team. The role will include: • managing divorce, separation, financial remedy and private children matters; • advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions; • handling TOLATA matters where appropriate, with TOLATA experience being ideal; • supervising and developing junior staff; • supporting the wider family team; • attending networking events and assisting with business development; • contributing to the continued growth of the Doncaster office and the wider firm. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: • ideally 8+ years’ PQE in family law, although strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered; • experience in both children and financial remedy matters; • TOLATA experience is ideal; • ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision; • excellent client care, drafting and communication skills; • strong commercial awareness and a good billing record; • experience or willingness to supervise and develop junior colleagues; • willingness to network and assist with business development; • ambition to grow within the firm; • confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office; • a professional, organised and team-focused approach.
