THE ROLE: The successful Family Solicitor or Legal Executive will manage a varied caseload of divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, injunction applications and cohabitation disputes, whilst providing clear, practical and up-to-date family law advice to clients. The role will involve conducting advocacy where appropriate, attending court hearings and liaising with Counsel in relation to more complex matrimonial and family matters. You will be expected to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision whilst playing an integral role within the wider family team. THE CANDIDATE: Applications are sought from Family Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and strong experience across a broad range of family law matters. Advocacy and litigation qualifications are essential for this role. The appointed candidate will possess excellent client care and communication skills together with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. THE FIRM: The firm is seeking a friendly yet professional individual who will contribute to the continued growth and development of the family department. You will also be encouraged to support business development initiatives, including networking and marketing activities, whilst helping to maintain the firm’s strong reputation within the local market.
