Description
• Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters.
• Advising clients on financial provision, separation, child contact and residence disputes.
• Handling pre-nuptial agreements, adoption and guardianship cases.
• Representing clients in hearings and proofs where required.
• Collaborating with colleagues and supporting the development of junior team members while maintaining exceptional client care standards.
Profile
A successful Family Solicitor will be:
• A solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in family law.
• Experienced in managing a broad range of family law matters independently.
• Skilled in conducting civil hearings and proofs.
• Able to supervise, mentor and support junior members of the team.
• Possessing strong communication and client care skills.
• Proactive, organised and empathetic in their approach to sensitive legal matters.
• Familiar with legal aid work relating to guardianship matters, although this is advantageous rather than essential.
