Female Housing Support Worker Location: Rochdale Salary: £17 - £18 per hour Contract Type: Temporary, to start ASAP - 4 weeks with the potential for extension Hours: Full-time - 36 hours per week Our Client Our client is a leading charity dedicated to providing high - quality support services for vulnerable women and families facing homelessness and domestic abuse. They are committed to empowering individuals to achieve stable housing and improve their quality of life. The Role As a Female Housing Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting women experiencing homelessness. You will provide practical and emotional support, advocate for women, and help clients access support services. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. Key Responsibilities - Female Housing Support Worker; • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored support plans. • Liaise with partner agencies to facilitate access support services. • Support clients in navigating housing benefits and financial assistance. • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress. • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development. The Candidate • Experience working with vulnerable people, particularly in housing or social care. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality. • A driver with access to a car for work and the ability to work across a shift pattern including some weekends.
