FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERJob Title: Field Service Engineer Location: Chessington Salary: £49,500 Job Role of the Field Service Engineer An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a market-leading engineering business providing service, maintenance, and technical support to customers across the South East. The company is renowned for investing in its engineers, offering ongoing training, excellent career progression, and a supportive working environment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding, servicing, and installations on a range of industrial equipment at customer sites. You will act as the face of the business, delivering exceptional technical support while ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Sector – Field Service Engineering Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service Engineer • Previous experience carrying out maintenance within an industrial engineering environment. • Strong fault-finding skills and experience with both planned and reactive maintenance. • Full UK Driving Licence. Requirements for the Field Service Engineer • Multi-skilled engineering background with electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience. • Recognised Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical). • Experience maintaining industrial machinery or automated equipment. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. Desirable Requirements for the Field Service Engineer • Previous experience working as a Field Service Engineer. • Experience with PLC fault finding using inputs and outputs. • Experience working on manufacturing, production, packaging, or process machinery.
