Job description

Location: London (Paddington) - hybrid About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Paper Sourcing & Recycling Finance team. This is a highly visible role that sits at the heart of our paper sourcing operations, supporting both the Packaging and Paper divisions by providing accurate pricing information, insightful financial analysis, and robust transfer pricing governance. As the Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring intercompany transactions are priced accurately and in accordance with Group Transfer Pricing policies and regulatory requirements. You will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Paper Sourcing, and Packaging to provide commercial insight that supports strategic sourcing decisions and drives business performance. Key Responsibilities • Calculate and maintain transfer prices for intercompany transactions in line with Group Transfer Pricing policy • Ensure fiscal pricing is applied accurately across goods, services, royalties, and other intercompany arrangements • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation to meet audit and regulatory requirements • Conduct periodic reviews of pricing methodologies to ensure compliance with OECD guidelines and local regulations • Support month-end and year-end intercompany pricing adjustments • Calculate Fiscal Price Adjustments and Gain Share arrangements • Communicate transfer pricing updates and rationale clearly to key stakeholders across the Paper and Packaging divisions • Produce monthly reporting and performance analysis on paper sales and purchases across the Group • Develop and enhance reporting tools and dashboards to improve business visibility and decision-making • Support forecasting and budgeting activities, helping stakeholders understand the financial impact of key business decisions • Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business insights • Maintain and enhance the Transfer Pricing Power App • Own and maintain the Price Management Tool (PMT), ensuring: • Appropriate controls are followed • Pricing records and vendor data remain accurate and up to date • Internal and external purchase and sales prices are correctly maintained • Support ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives. About You We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. • University Degree, ideally with an interest in or at the beginning of financial accounting training • Previous experience with data manipulation and reporting writing, automation of data and analytics reporting • Experience of process and checking transactional processes • Background in a financial control function is advantageous • Commodity price analysis or experience with paper and packaging pricing is preferred • Experience with data and financial modelling to support scenario management and forecasting • Experience of working in an internal transfer pricing environment • Knowledge of systems for reporting and analysis • Comfortable navigating an international, matrix environment, capable of influencing without authority • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
