Finance Business Partner | Chorley | £50,000 - £55,000 + benefits The Opportunity If you are a Management Accountant / Finance Analyst / Commercial Accountant who loves business partnering and making a real impact it would be great to speak. You are joining a modern growth business as FBP. Your focus is supporting operational leaders and directors to better utilise their numbers to make impactful evidence-based decisions. You’ll be out in the business gaining interesting and valuable commercial understanding of the drivers of success… what is eroding margin, what causes surges in orders, where are the bottlenecks, how can we enhance forecasting, where is there room for better efficiency, what are we awesome at…. You’ll be challenging the business and using your communication skills to bring the P&L / reporting suite to life. It’s a chance to genuinely impact decision making and drive performance. You’ll also need awesome analytical skills – ability to intuitively slice and dice the data to bring credible insights to the table. It’s a mega setting – a welcoming, modern and vibrant business with aspirational board members. You’ll work for a brilliant FD with a reputation for developing others and promoting from within. If you are a management accountant with a genuine interest in business this is a great next step. Required; • Ideally CIMA / ACCA (possibly part qualified). • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues who work outside of finance. • Great Excel / Power BI. • Solid core accounting / reporting skills (maybe a background in commercial analysis management accounting). • Naturally proactive, able to work in a team, commercial acumen.
