Finance Manager (Interim) - Agency Location: Remote (occasional travel to London office may be required) Salary: Competitive Hourly/Day Rate (DOE) Contract: 3 Months Start Date: Immediate We're delighted to be supporting an established international project-led business in the search for an experienced Finance Manager to join them on an interim basis. Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations during a period of transition. This is a hands-on role offering plenty of autonomy, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of finance within a collaborative SME environment. The business offers genuine flexibility around working hours, with fully remote working and the opportunity to shape a schedule that works around your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function. • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across internal systems. • Manage purchase ledger and sales ledger processes. • Coordinate supplier payment runs and liaise with senior management regarding payment approvals. • Support payroll processes alongside external payroll providers. • Prepare customer quotations and supplier purchase orders in conjunction with operational teams. • Monitor outstanding debtor balances and support credit control activities. • Act as the primary finance contact for the wider business, providing day-to-day financial support and guidance. • Assist with the transition and handover to the incoming Finance Director. About You: • Previous experience as a Finance Manager or within a similar all-round finance role. • At least five years' experience working within a commercial finance environment. • Excellent Excel skills and confidence manipulating financial data. • Strong knowledge of transactional finance, payment processes and payroll coordination. • Excellent organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail. • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage your own workload. • Experience working within an SME, agency or creative background would be a benefit.
