Finance Manager

Finance Manager / Hybird / Fife Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with a large international business in the recruitment of an Finance Manager to join their Central Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of the month-end close process within a complex, international organisation. The role offers a blend of technical accounting, financial controls, reporting and team leadership responsibilities, alongside involvement in ongoing finance transformation and process improvement projects. The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will: • Lead and coordinate the month-end close process across the business. • Prepare and review journals, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting submissions. • Produce management accounts and provide insightful analysis on business performance. • Maintain a strong financial control environment, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, UK GAAP and internal control frameworks. • Lead external audit activity and support internal audit requirements. • Partner closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury and wider finance teams. • Coach and develop members of the finance team. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation projects and ERP enhancements. About You We're looking for a finance professional who can demonstrate: • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience). • Strong experience managing a month-end close process. • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and financial controls experience. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • SAP experience. • Previous experience within a multinational, US-owned or highly regulated environment would be advantageous.
