Finance Manager

Finance Manager Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE) Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join an established finance team in Nottingham. Reporting to the Finance Director, this newly created role will take ownership of the month-end management accounts process, financial reporting and analysis, whilst leading a small finance team. Benefits Include: • Flexible working hours • Company pension • Employee discounts, including high street retailers, supermarkets and gym memberships • Free on-site parking • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing with length of service • Genuine opportunities for progression within a growing finance team Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager: • Lead the month-end management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting • Review Profit & Loss accounts, balance sheets and supporting reconciliations • Produce insightful financial reporting, analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders • Identify financial risks and opportunities to support decision making • Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes • Lead the year-end and external audit process • Maintain strong financial controls across the finance function • Develop KPI reporting and financial analysis • Manage, coach and support two direct reports • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support wider business initiatives We're looking for candidates with: • Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role • Experience working within a medium to large organisation • Strong month-end and management accounting experience • Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE) • Experience managing or mentoring finance staff • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Multi-site experience would be advantageous • A proactive and organised approach If you're interested in this opportunity, please get in touch with Elevation Recruitment Group today!
